Justice League to be Featured in Arkham City Prequel

DC’s greatest superheroes will be featured in Warner Bros. next installment of the Arkham franchise. Batman will be joined by his buddies Superman, Wonder Woman, the Green Lantern, and the Flash, among others. If available, Aquaman can talk to some fish.

Batman: Arkham City Review

It wasn’t until 2009’s Batman: Arkham Asylum that the Batman franchise meant anything to gamers. Prior to Arkham Asylum the Batman name had been dragged through the mud with game after game that had no idea how to handle a character so varied as the Dark Knight. Arkham Asylum finally got it right allowing Batman to use both his brain and brawn. The attention to detail and loving care by the team at Rocksteady was incredibly amplified for the sequel Batman: Arkham City. Much like Christopher Nolan, Rocksteady on their second tour of duty with the Caped Crusader have created a masterpiece.

The Boy Wonder in Arkham City?

According to an article posted on arkhamcity.co.uk, there’s a little speculation about whether the Caped Crusader’s sidekick, Robin, will appear in Batman: Arkham City. Rocksteady’s Sefton Hill commented on recent comic book versions of Robin and was asked if he will be included in the game.

Catwoman to Play Central Role in Batman Sequel

IGN reports that Selina Kyle a.k.a. Catwoman will play a major role in the upcoming Batman: Arkham City. Sometimes she’s Batman’s adversary, other times she’s his ally and love interest. Always morally ambiguous, Catwoman will add a lot of intrigue as well as sexual tension to the story.

Sequel to Batman: Arkham Asylum Announced

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced today that it will publish the sequel to the critically acclaimed and commercially successful Batman: Arkham Asylum. It is currently in development with Rocksteady Studios. Holy Playable Demo, Batman!

Gamers can get a taste of the dark recesses of Arkham Asylum and perhaps Batman’s psyche on August 7 when the  playable demo for Batman: Arkham Asylum becomes available on Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network. The Windows version can be downloaded from www.batmanarkhamasylum.com .The full game will be available in stores August 25.
