In a candid interview with Nintendo Power, Metal Gear creator Hideo Kojima was asked about the old Metal Gear game on the NES. He actually had zero involvement in that game and was very unhappy with it:

Anthony Michael Sneed’s paintings, which features adult themes and national tragedies as NES box art, is being featured in an exhibit at New York City’s Artjail museum. This video was produced from the show’s opening two weeks ago. Watch it if you can listen to hipsters and all their pretense while resisting the urge to punch them.
