Sony and Microsoft Looking to 2014 for their New Consoles?

Rumors of Wii 2 announcements surfacing at E3 are making the headlines, but so far Sony and Microsoft have been mostly silent…UNTIL NOW. Actually no, there has been no official announcement nor have there been rumors. But industry insiders predict that it won’t be until 2014 when Sony and Microsoft release their respective successor consoles.

Sony announced today that they will launch a 250 GB PS3 on November 3 for the price of $349.99, reports Industrygamers. It will be slim just like the current 120 GB PS3 model which retails for $299.99. It has sold 1 million units worldwide since its launch on September 1. So for an extra $50.00, you more than double the storage space.
