Thanksgiving has come and gone once again along with it the madness of Black Friday. Like every year before it, the flood of game releases abate to a trickle, most of which are barely worth mentioning. So if I were you, I’d relax and read the up coming months worth of articles leisurely, assured that nothing I post is even worth considering.
Christmas is a-coming. Can you feel it? Can you feel your game store filling up with games you’ve never heard of? Have you seen the annual signs yet like the Call of Duty or Professor Layton games lining store shelves? If you haven’t you’ll see one this week.
At first, I thought about posting a graph that shows when a specific genre of games likes to come out, but the graph I got doesn’t show me that. It seems that there is no specific time that any specific genres gather around or anything like that. Any month has about an equal mix of the different genres. What’s more fascinating to me is the total number of games in each genre that came out this year. Take a look.
