Hot on the heels of Modern Warfare 3, Sledgehammer Games is recruiting for its “Call of Duty development team”. The studio has posted a job listing in which new employees will work on a “an unannounced high-end console title”, which is obviously Call of Duty.
A single disc of the PC version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 was stolen from a shipping warehouse in Fresno,California. It was the second disc of the two-disc set, it is unclear what content is contained in the disc. Naturally, pirated copies are circulating the web.
At the Call of Duty XP fan event today in Los Angeles, Activision revealed some big news about the multiplayer portion of its upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
Activision announced today it was collaborating with some celebrities to help create video content for the Call of Duty Elite service. Activision Publishing CEO Eric Hirshberg named director Ridley Scott, producer Tony Scott, producer Ben Silverman, actor Jason Bateman, and actor Will Arnett to be working on Elite projects.
Call of Duty XP (which I assume means “experience”) is a two day event obviously based on the shooter and will take place in Los Angeles in September. Before you start groaning at all the COD exposure, the proceeds for the event will go to charity.
