It goes to show that “bad” press is better than no press at all, since pre-orders of the upcoming Medal of Honor have hit a franchise record, reports Edge. Despite the recent controversy over the ability to play as the Taliban in multiplayer matches, EA said MOH will be among the company’s top pre-sold action games. EA did not specify the actual figures, though.

Nintendo held a press conference over in Japan last night around 10 PM PST. They announced both the launch date and the price for the 3DS. At least in Japan anyways.
Gamespot reports that Sony and Naughty Dog will release Uncharted 2: Among Thieves Game of the Year Edition October 12. It’s only fitting since Uncharted 2 is considered by many to be the best game of 2009.
The PSP2 is a little bit that button you push at intersections to change the light. Everyone knows that it doesn’t do jack, but no one has said so officially. Everybody knows the PSP2 exist, but nobody has made it official. Movies in general always require a suspension of disbelief, but it’s especially true for a kids movie. It isn’t necessarily for the more fantastical stuff like dragons and spaceships and whatnot, but just for the fact that the entire movie has been scrubbed clean of foul language and/or blood and/or excessive violence. For far too many kids movies, doing so probably doesn’t net you anything you might consider of entertainment value. The kids might fall for the sight gags and bathroom humor, but us adults will just be bored to tears. Professor Layton and the Unwound Future, like all of its previous iterations and undoubtedly its future iterations as well, requires a generous amount of your suspension of disbelief.
