I wonder which will happen first. A day passing by without a single Infinity Ward employee leaving or me running out of these sinking Titanic pictures to use for these stories? Kotaku (via 1UP) has reported that 5 more employees have left Infinity Ward, and once again, some of them have had impressive sounding job titles.

Now this was just plain dumb. A promotional stunt for Splinter Cell: Conviction in New Zealand went awry when a Sam Fisher look alike pointed a fake gun at bar patrons in Auckland, reports GamePolitics.
Nintendo Releases the Classic Controller Pro
Previously available only in Japan, the Classic Controller Pro looks positively Xboxonian or PlayStationish depending on your tastes. Today the controller has been launched in North America in black or white and will retail for $19.99.

Taxes are over and done with. Or at least I hope it is for you guys. If my theory holds, that’s why the releases are starting to look a little more normal. As in, the number of games coming out this week actually broke into double digits. Who knew the video game industry has a sense of responsibility when it comes to paying taxes?
GameStation Owns 7500 British Souls
UK-based game retailer GameStation is now the proud owner of 7500 immortal souls reports bit-tech.net (via GamePolitics). It secretly added an “Immortal Souls Clause” to the online terms and conditions for the official GameStation website.
Infinity Ward Continues to Bleed
Two more key team members of Infinity Ward have departed the studio, reports Kotaku. After president Jason West and CEO Vince Zampella were fired by Activision, lead designers Steve Fukuda and Zied Reike and programmer Rayme Vinson and lead artist Chris Cherubini have resigned. Now lead animator Mark Grisby and lead character animator Paul Messerly have followed suit.
Nintendo Sued by Excercise Company
Edge reports that Nintendo’s legal battles aren’t over yet. Hot off the heels of a patent lawsuit asserted by Anascape, Nintendo is facing another patent infringement lawsuit brought by IA Labs, an interactive exercise company.

Infinity Ward Loses More People
Things over at Infinity Ward must be worst than we thought. Four more employees have resigned today according to Kotaku (Via 1UP). Steve Fukuda and Zied Reike were two of the lead designers for Modern Warfare 2, and they along with programmer Rayme Vinson and lead artist Chris Cherubini have left Infinity Ward.
