I believe Captain Jack Sparrow of Pirates of Caribbean fame said it best. Another character, upon seeing his little improvised “catapult”, told Jack that he was mad. “Thank goodness for that,” replied Jack “Because if I wasn’t, this’d probably never work.” That was right before he fires off the canon that basically propelled him through the air back to his ship. The lesson? Sometimes crazy works, and Bayonetta just runs with it. Whether you’re watching a cutscene, pulling of one of the many combos that Bayonetta has in her arsenal, killing bosses about a hundred times bigger than her, or just skating around on her ice skates, Bayonetta is desperately trying to get a picture of herself into the dictionary under “crazy”.
