Coming Soon! 11/30/2009
November 30, 2009

Happy Thanksgiving everybody! I hope you’ve recovered from your food coma by now. God knows I haven’t. Nevertheless, onwards to the releases! I thought last week was bad. I don’t even have anything to put into the Releases to Watch For section this week. Unless you’re into dirt bike racing or 10ft tall blue aliens.
Well, That Would’ve Been Freakin’ Nice…
November 25, 2009
As I wrote in my review, Tekken 6’s online matches could use a whole lot of improvement. Namco Bandai actually listened to our complaints and will be releasing a free downloadable update to improve the online Tekken 6 experience for Xbox 360 and PS3 players. The update is scheduled for release November 26.
What’s in Your Wallet? Extra $$$. Game Prices to Decline.
November 24, 2009
The good news is EEDAR analyst Jesse Divnich is predicting median price drops for Xbox 360 and PS3 titles by $10.00 to $49.99, according to Edge. For years I always thought games would never rise above that price. The bad news is that the price drop is unlikely to occur until the holiday season 2010.
Coming Soon! 11/23/2009
November 23, 2009
If the last month is the high school equivalent of finals, this week, and basically the entirety of next month, is like Summer vacation. Even the DS releases are below double digits! I hope I have something to even put in the Releases to watch for section. Well actually there is at least one game. Kinda.
A $445 PS2!?
November 20, 2009
Those lucky Brazilians. Edge reports that Sony is releasing the bright and shiny nine year old PlayStation 2 in Brazil for the U.S. equivalent of $445.00! Software prices will range from US$55.00 and US$66.00. 14 launch games will be available, like Gran Turismo 4 and God of War III. I’m guessing all this is the official, legal release.

Super Street Fighter IV: New Characters, Old Bonus Stages
November 17, 2009
It was inevitable. The latest version of Street Fighter gets an update without being a sequel. It’s OK though because we’ll play it whether it’s super, turbo, or hyper. Super Street Fighter IV will be arriving on the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 in Spring 2010.
When you can’t choose between Castlevania and Half Life 2…
November 17, 2009
Fan made mods range from boring to illuminating. From pedestrian to utterly deranged. And some are just pure, awesome goodness like this one (via 1UP).
