New Screenshots for Army of Two: The 40th Day
Electronic Arts has released new screenshots for Army of Two: The 40th Day, set for release January 12, 2010. It features some new gameplay enhancements such as the ability to feign surrender, the use of human shields, and automated cover. Controls have been refined to where only one button is needed to perform a particular action and partner AI has been improved. Homoeroticism optional.
Ballmer:Blu-Ray Add On for Xbox?

UPDATE October 26:Xbox Live’s Director of Programming, Larry Hryb, has since clarified the comments made by Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer, according to Edge. Regarding the quote about Blu-ray drives as accessories for the Xbox, Hryb stated that Ballmer was “referring to Blu-ray accessories for the PC“. The company has “no plans” for a Blu-ray add-on for the Xbox 360. Hryb reiterated that the future of home entertainment will begin when the Xbox 360 becomes the first and only console to offer instant-on 1080p streaming HD movies.

3 Discs in Gran Turismo 5 Package?
In a Mercedes Benz video posted on gtplanet (via N4G) the game’s creator, Kazunori Yamauchi, can be seen inspecting a thick Blu-Ray box which is more than likely what the final package for Gran Turismo 5 will look like. The curious thing is: it contains three separate Blu-Ray cases. One case is black, one red, and one blue. What on earth could they be for?

Missed me? Sure you did! Sorry about last week’s absence. Had a wedding to get to. Anyways, ever wonder what it feels like to be buried by games? If you take a look at the releases for the Wii alone, you might just know what that feels like. It doesn’t make much sense either. Nothing really major is coming out for the other systems aside from maybe Borderlands. For some reason, all the Wii games just decided to come out this week. Go figure.
