Patapon
February 26, 2008
Addictive, mesmerizing, infuriating. These are a few words that best describe Patapon. Who knew you could mash together two seemingly unrelated genres: real time tactics and rhythm/music? The game’s simple, whimsical art direction and smooth animation really make it stand out. It reminds me of cave paintings come to life.
Destroy All Humans! Big Willy Unleashed
February 25, 2008
It’s refreshing to play an evil bastard sometimes. The Destroy All Humans! series has allowed us to fill that role as Crypto, the grey skinned Furon with a fixation for anal probes. With open ended gameplay, twisted humor, and lots of stuff to destroy, this third entry into the series continues the formula with the obvious addition of motion controls.

I was never big on the original Playstation, but it was mainly because I was a broke high school kid and because my parents had bought me a Nintendo 64. However, things had changed for the better by the time the Playstation 2 hit the market. Read more

The Spiderwick Chronicles is a game, based on a movie, based on a series of bestselling books for children. How faithful the game remains to the authors original vision I have no idea, having read neither the books, nor seen the movie. Read more
Turok
February 6, 2008
Say what you will but I feel it’s my duty at least be true with you all. I was one of the few hardcore gamers that owned a N64 and has never, ever played a Turok game, well until now. Read more
My Horse and Me
February 5, 2008
In My Horse and Me you will be transported into the exciting world of…show jumping. Not racing or jousting, just riding your horse around jumping over obstacles. And doing it again and again and being judged on your performance. If the game featured cars it would’ve been called: “The DMV presents: My Driving Test.”
