Sick of your Wii U yet? God I hope not. You just got it! In case you are, the game industry has a couple of titles just for you you spoiled little brat.
So, did you guys vote or did you just stay at home playing Halo 4? One will determine the fate of our country for the next four years while the other the fate of the universe. From that perspective the choice seems rather simple. But enough about that! Onwards to the industry’s current juggernaut. After that, get ready for a full on console launch come this Sunday. Too bad you won’t see any of those games here. I’m saving those for a special Coming Soon this Friday.
November has come once again to grace its presence upon the games industry. You can tell because every store that carries new games visibly sinks a little bit every Tuesday. So then, what jewel shall we find in this week’s pile of new games?
Christmas is a-coming. Can you feel it? Can you feel your game store filling up with games you’ve never heard of? Have you seen the annual signs yet like the Call of Duty or Professor Layton games lining store shelves? If you haven’t you’ll see one this week.
Missed me? So did I (long story). All that matters now is that I’m back, and just as depressing as ever. No amount of meds can fix this busted ass brain of mine. Shall we get on with it?
October has arrived. Just the very mention of that month sends shivers down my spine. Why? One would think that November would be the month with the most releases, but they’d be wrong. My metrics have shown me that October is the true month of madness when it comes to sheer volume of releases. Time to stock up on my Jolt colas. Thankfully, it has a rather tame start.
And the hits just keep on coming! With Borderlands 2 leading the fall release madness, we’re getting yet another triple-A title this week along with a number of other games hoping to catch your eye as you peruse the shelves looking for that triple-A title that just came out. Sneaky.
Now this is more like it! Although Madden normally signals the start of the Fall schedule triple-A madness, it certainly doesn’t feel like it given what we’ve had the last two weeks. This week, that changes.
Missed me? I would have written something last week if I hadn’t passed out from PAX exhaustion or if there was anything even remotely interesting to tell you about unless you think Everyone Sings for PS3 and Xbox 360 is interesting. This week’s offering seems to be a little bit more palatable, so I’ll do you all a solid and shake off the remnants of my PAX hangover so that I may “enlighten” you with the games of the week.
