Last Month, Capcom announced that they’re releasing 2 brand new episodes to add on to Resident Evil 5, Lost in Nightmares and Desperate Escape, in addition to 2 costume packs, each one being released alongside an episode, and the new mode The Mercenaries Reunion mode. So far, only Lost in Nightmares have been detailed, but today on the Capcom-Unity blog (via Joystiq), Capcom has released more details and screenshots on Desperate Escape and the costume pack associated with it.
Desperate Escape has you playing as Jill Valentine and Josh Stone. People who have finished the game knows that there’s only one logical time period where the two could have met up and worked together, but for the rest of you, I won’t spoil it. The two must work together to escape the Tricell facility, which just happens to be overrun by Majinis, and meet up with Chris and Sheva. Capcom has also released a slew of screenshots as well which you can ogle at past this paragraph. As for the costume pack, Chris will be getting the Heavy Metal costume while Sheva gets the Business costume. Wondering what those costumes look like? Lost in Nightmare will be released next year on February 17th while Desperate Escape will be released on march 4th. Or you could get the retail release of Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition which will include all of these DLCs for $49.99 on March 9th. Individual pricing for each pack has not been announced.
