Wait? The Taliban has robots?
Production line mix-ups can be either very frustrating to the unlucky consumers who bought the product or hilarious to everyone but the unlucky consumer. Today we have both. Reports have started coming in about a mix-up with the PC version of Call of Duty: Black Ops II’s second installation disc. Some users have reported that instead of it being the second installation disc, it’s actually the disc for Mass Effect 2. One affected user has even posted a video online to show his dismay.
Affected users trying to install the game onto their PC will not be able to until they get the proper second disc, but there is a workaround. All copies of COD: Black Ops 2 for the PC does come with a Steam key. Meaning anyone who bought the retail version can download a complete digital version from Steam.
No word yet on whether or not the second disc really does allow them to install Mass Effect 2 yet.
We are waiting for a response from Activision on this mix-up.
